Privacy Policy

Tidbit · Last updated July 2026

Tidbit is built to respect your privacy completely. The short version: Tidbit does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts and no analytics, and your content never leaves your device. Everything you choose in the app stays on your phone.

1. Information we collect

None. Tidbit does not collect any personal data, usage data, or device identifiers. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no tracking of any kind.

2. Internet & data transmission

Tidbit does not send your content, settings, or any personal information off your device. The affirmations, quotes, and other tidbits are stored inside the app and shown to you without any network connection. If you choose to buy an optional upgrade, that purchase is handled by Google Play (see “Purchases” below); Tidbit itself never transmits your personal data.

3. What's stored on your device

Your choices — selected topics, styles, colours, custom messages, and any photo you pick as a lock-screen background — are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. This information never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the app.

4. Permissions

5. Third parties

Tidbit contains no ads, no third-party analytics, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Nothing is shared with anyone.

6. Purchases

If you buy an optional paid upgrade, the purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. Tidbit never sees or stores your name, card number, or payment details — that transaction is handled by Google under its own privacy policy. Your purchase status is stored on your device so the upgrade keeps working, including offline.

7. Children's privacy

Because Tidbit collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
